una entrevista

Where ya been, dude?
Busy. Coaching football is cool. Teaching Spanish is cool. Doing them both at the same time is a challenge. I spend about ten minutes online each day. If I owe you an email, please be patient. Things should cool down a bit soon.

How are your classes?
Good. I really like the students, but I'm a little disappointed at my teaching so far. My Spanish teaching is a bit rusty. It's true that teaching Spanish is similar to teaching English as I was doing for the past two years. But the levels are not the same. It's been awhile since I've had to teach beginner language students.

Do you own a house yet?
Nope. We weren't able to close on Friday (big surprise). The closing date has been postponed until Wednesday. Fortunately, we were able to get the major issues resolved, so we should still be able to buy the house . . . eventually.

Who did you pick up in place of Tom Brady?
Aaron Rogers. He made my proud today. I may keep him.

What did you do today?
I don't remember it very well, but I'm pretty sure I took a 4 hour nap this afternoon. 4 hours. Other than that, I went to church, went to Youth Group (Robin and I are helping again), graded quizzes and worked on school plans.

Do you still miss Costa Rica?
Yes.
