music, beef and the Monday predicament

not necessarily in that order

The same thing happens every Monday night. I go play basketball at about 7:30 and don't get home until almost 10:00. When I get home, I have to eat something (I don't eat much before I go), take out the trash and take a shower before I can go to bed. When I do finally get to bed, I usually can't sleep because I haven't completely settled down from playing basketball. Adding to the predicament is the fact that we recently changed our schedule at school to try to avoid the horrible traffic that was causing so many problems (only in Costa Rica). Classes now begin at 6:45 instead of 7:30. Of course, we have to be there by 6:15 for teacher devotional, and if I have a class during the first period, which I do on Tuesdays, I usually need to go even earlier. All of this adds up to a pretty cranky Bryan on Tuesdays. Tonight is especially bad because after basketball one of the guys invited some of his fellow salespeople to talk to us about Herbal Life vitamin products. I didn't get home until 10:15. The whole time they were talking, I just kept thinking, "Please finish soon dude, so I can go home to my beef."

Which brings me to my second point. Beef. We rollin' in it. Well, not so much anymore. I've been taking care of it. Last night, I made carne asada on the grill. In order to take advantage of the hot coals and because we had some ground beef in the fridge that we didn't want to re-freeze, I also made hamburgers. We ate the carne asada last night, and saved the hamburgers for today. But we didn't eat all the carne asada, so we had both waiting for us when we got home today. Beeftastic. Am I still talking about this? Are you still reading or did you skip ahead to something, anything that is more exciting than meat.
